Children’s Cancer Network

As the owner of Bay & Associates, I believe that every company needs to give back to your community using your talents to help others shine. That’s exactly what we have chosen to do with Children’s Cancer Network.

I happened to be working out one day when I heard a group of women talking about an incredible family run organization called Children’s Cancer Network. They were planning a yearly “Christmas Tree” drive, decorating trees for families in need as part of their contribution to the organization. My PR ears perked up and I started asking questions, who ran the organization, what were they doing to get the word out?

All anyone could say was you have to talk to Patti Luttrell, the family is amazing – they have been through “Hell and Back” and are still fighting this dread disease day in and day out, but they put their troubles aside and started a “grass roots” organization that has helped so many – I had to do something to help as well.

Children’s Cancer Network is a 501c3 non-profit organization supporting children and families throughout their cancer journey with programs and services designed to provide financial assistance, promote education, encourage healthy lifestyles, and create an awareness of issues they face related to childhood cancer.

We jumped right in with public relations support for their “Inspirations” fashion show that is a yearly event at the Biltmore Hotel in Phoenix. Families sharing similar journeys are empowered to continue the fight against cancer. Hundreds of guests gather in celebration and support for those who know only too well the experiences of childhood cancer treatment and survivorship.

“Inspirations” presents an uplifting afternoon of fun and enlightenment for all who attend. Participate in silent and live auctions, engaging raffles and more while enjoying the delicious luncheon prepared especially for Children’s Cancer Network guests by the chef at the Arizona Biltmore Resort.

Our successes have been numerous including print and electronic media and we will continue the fight against childhood cancer and will be right there beside the Luttrell Family when the cure is discovered!

With our help, 2013 donation at the event topped last year!
